The Sterivalve is a butterfly valve made according to the strictest standards of innovation in the sector for the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries.

Its constitution and the assembly of components allows the perfect processing of both products and raw materials, without any loss and ensuring the perfect absence of possible contamination.

The Sterivalve valve is dedicated to interrupting the flow of bulk solid products (which can be powders and granulates), and is manufactured according to the Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), legislation known in Italy as NBF (Good Manufacturing Standards).

Sterivalve also complies with the European ATEX standards in force, thus allowing the control of the risk of explosions for equipment and systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Typical applications

The most conventional uses of the Sterivalve valve include interrupting the flow of product on containers, hoppers and pipes for both the pharmaceutical and food or chemical sectors in general. Sterivalve is assembled in such a way as to support the maintenance of the conditions of sterility and safety of the plants and environments, respecting the maximum safety for the workers.
